Pop singer Avril Lavigne is not dead.
First it seems pranksters have started a morbid hoax about Canadian pop singer Avril Lavigne.

According to the pranksters, Avril Lavigne “died shortly after a snowboard accident” while celebrating the new year in British Columbia. In the report, Avril lost control of her snowboard while vacationing north of Vancouver at the Whistler Blackcomb resort. She was airlifted by ski patrol and the singer died.

The truth is that 26-year-old singer is alive and nowhere near the reported site of her death in British Columbia; reports earlier in the week had her in Hawaii with boyfriend Brody Jenner, and she performed her new song “What the Hell” on the L.A. portion of ABC’s “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” special Friday night (Dec. 31).

As has been the case with the last few death hoaxes, the source of the fake story is Global Associated News, the official-sounding “news” front of a prank site called Fake A Wish. It lets people plug a celeb’s name into a generator that creates a story about their death usually in some sort of weird accident.

Michelle Obama Is Not Pregnant.

Rumors have also surfaced on the internet that Michelle Obama- the wife of president, Barack Obama is pregnant with the couple’s third child.

The rumor of Michelle Obama’s third pregnancy broke out after a blog site published a news report quoting White House Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs as saying in Hawaii, “Michelle Obama is pregnant. It’s about two months into her pregnancy and the President and First Lady expect to have the baby sometime in late July, 2011.” However, no such announcement has been actually made.

There is no truth behind it. Michelle Obama is not at all pregnant. The story is a fabricated one.
